Guiding Children to Their Divine Mission

Discover the Montessori Difference

Developed through careful scientific observation by Dr. Maria Montessori in the early 1900s, the Montessori method is a thoughtfully designed approach to education that honors each child’s natural curiosity, independence, and desire to learn. Rooted in hands-on discovery, Montessori education engages the senses through purposeful materials that invite children to explore, practice, and master concepts at their own pace.

As a faithful Catholic, Dr. Montessori viewed her discoveries about children and learning as gifts from God — shaping an educational philosophy that nurtures not only academic growth, but the whole child.

Hallmarks of a Montessori Education

  • Multi-aged classrooms that foster leadership, collaboration, and community

  • Carefully designed hands-on materials that encourage active learning

  • Freedom within structure, allowing children to choose meaningful work and repeat activities until mastery is achieved

  • Respect for each child’s individual pace of development

  • A peaceful, prepared environment that cultivates concentration, confidence, and independence

Intentional Beginning for
Lifelong Learning

Parents choose St. Monica’s Montessori because our classrooms are intentionally designed to nurture independence, concentration, virtue formation, and a love of learning.

Rooted in the Catholic faith and guided by Montessori principles, we honor each child as uniquely created by God and empower them to grow.

Our Learning Environments

Created to serve children ages 18 months through 12 years, our learning environments are prepared to meet each child where they are.

A Community
Sustained by Generosity

St. Monica’s does not charge a fixed tuition. As a generosity-based school rooted in the Catholic tradition of stewardship and tithing, we invite families to support their child’s education through a meaningful and sacrificial financial gift.

This model reflects our belief that Catholic Montessori education is a shared mission—sustained through prayerful generosity and a commitment to forming children in faith, independence, and love of learning.
